What Is? Collective is a group of artists working across disciplines to create concept exhibitions and installations. Members Moïe and Sam Fowler, both based in Hull, UK, currently have an exhibition called Of Love and Sea.
Moïe's abstract work utilises positive and negative space and creates effects by using materials such as light responsive inks, gold leaf, light absorbent and reflective surfaces. It considers topographic and aerial views of Earth and Sea.
Sam Fowler's work contains both a sense of loss and hope as she explores the connection between those opposite ends of the emotional spectrum.
Of Love and Sea is at Hull Truck Theatre from January 15th to March 13th 2020.
